What Method Should you Use To Get Rid Of Facial Hair?

Getting rid of uninvited hair can be irritating. Shaving and waxing, or other common forms of removing hair are boring tasks that can take for too long. Also, to maintain control of the uninvited hair you have to take action every other day. Thankfully, two medical treatments are approved by the Food and Drug Administration as sound methods of removing hair permanently.

Electrolysis is the first method. In this procedure the hair follicles are left unable to produce hair with the insertion of needles that deliver a zap of energy, killing the follicles. This treatment can last a quite awhile since there are so many hair follicles that need to be treated. In addition, while the needles should not hurt, the stress of having them repeatedly inserted into your skin may be overwhelming.

Laser hair removal is the other treatment. This treatment uses a laser, which is a beam of high powered light, to kill hair follicles. This procedure takes less time since a laser can treat a pertain of hair follicles instead of only killing a single one each time. However, it comes with an increased chance of mild scarring or burning.

Neither method offers complete hair removal in a single treatment. Multiple treatments may need to be done to destroy any hair follicles that remain either because they were missed or were not in the appropriate growth stage to be successful.

The cost of these methods may seem too pricey; although, remember, these procedures are permanent. This is only a single expense, while you spend a little bit each work on temporary methods, which can actually cost more than a permanent removal solution. Time should also be considered when you are weighing the costs. If you are always busy your free time is exceptionally important and eliminating the time it takes you to remove hair each day may be more beneficial to you.
